I spent the first 19 years of my life in Dallas, Oregon where farm life was our family’s culture. This taught me how to be independent and always assist where needed. This included bucking hay in the summer! I also spent several years training and showing horses. In addition, I was modeling and participated in runway shows and even a commercial for Suzuki SideKicks. For that I obtained the nickname still today, Zuk.

After high school, I moved to Phoenix, Arizona where I called home for over 15 years. The first job that I obtained was at the corporate office of Fender Musical Instruments. I still have my Squire Strat that I received. I also have a love for music and one night I accidently stumbled into a little establishment called Martini Ranch. I remember walking in while an incredible female band called Shirley’s Temple was on stage. I was amazed at the talent. For one little movement of stepping foot into the bar on the corner really opened a lot of amazing friendships which I still have today.

In 2001 I purchased a new construction home on the Golf Course in the up and coming Gilbert, Arizona. Shortly after, I purchased a condo that needed renovation. I realized during the transaction that if my Realtor could do this, I sure could! So I got my Real Estate License. Things blossomed from the very beginning and started purchasing rental properties. In addition, most of my buyers were out of state so I fell into property management and vacation rentals.

Once the economy took a tumble, I decided to move on and relocated to Denver, Colorado. I missed the change in seasons and wanted the opportunity for outdoor activities. I was able to learn many things that the Rocky Mountains had to offer.
